God is the ever-present, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful Creator of the world in which we live. He is the only god. There is none other besides Him (Mark 12:32). God is the owner of everything. He allows us to use what is His. He observes whether we are good stewards of what we have been allowed to use. God is the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalms 50:10).
God is not referred to in the past tense or the future tense. He simply is. He is timeless. God operates outside of time. Not for millions of years, but outside of time. Everything is now. That is how the Lord knows the future, because to Him it is not future, but now. God is the great I Am (Exodus 3:14).
God is love. He is a loving God. For God so loved us that He sent His son, Jesus, to die as a sacrifice for us (John 3:16). A picture of God's love is the Story of the Prodigal Son as told by Jesus (Luke 15:11-24). The son demanded his share of his father's wealth and left his father to waste the money on partying. When he was broke and starving, he came to his senses and returned to his father to work for him as a servant. But his father saw him coming a long distance away and came out to meet his wayward son. The father gave his son gifts and was overjoyed at his return. Likewise, our Heavenly Father is overjoyed when we turn from our sin and return to Him.
Another emotion of God was shown at the crucifixion of Jesus. While Jesus was on the cross, there was darkness over the land from the sixth hour of the day until the ninth hour or from Noon until 3:00 pm (Luke 23:44). This darkness was not a solar eclipse. The dark time during a solar eclipse only lasts a few minutes even in the most ideal locations. This darkness was supernatural. God the Father could not watch what mankind, His creation, was doing to Jesus, His son.
For the last 2000 years we have been living during the time of the grace of God. Our God is also a God of wrath. The earth has not seen the wrath of God for many thousands of years. That is about to end. Mankind has corrupted the earth and society. Mankind has killed and persecuted believers (Christians and Jews). The coming period of time will be a time of God's righteous wrath (The Revelation chapter 16).
But there is still hope. There will be persons who will be in Heaven after having come out of the great tribulation (The Revelation 7:14 and 14:13). Keep the faith. Do not rebel against God.
The Bible is true and correct.
