“And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” – Daniel 2:42-43 (emphasis added)
This phrase in Daniel’s prophecy is often overlooked. Who are “they” that will attempt to mingle themselves with mankind? It is one of the many scary situations prophesied about the Last Days.

“Of all the potentially apocalyptic technologies scientists have come up with in recent years, the gene drive is easily one of the most terrifying. A gene drive is a tool that allows scientists to use genetic engineering to override natural selection during reproduction.” – Kristen V. Brown
Ms. Brown reports that university students have been able to create and use a “gene drive.” The technology is there for those with the ability to access it.
“The discovery and development of the gene-editing tool CRIPSR/Cas9 has taken the world by storm with targeted genome editing. Last year, geneticists from China used it to modify embryonic DNA.” – Raya Bidshahri
While we have been consumed by the U.S. presidential election and “Dancing with the Stars,” science has been busily fiddling with the human genome. Several governments are spending lots of money to develop better, stronger, faster soldiers.
“The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has an initiative to integrate living organisms – synthetic biology – into living and non-living (abiotic) systems to perform material synthesis, enhance human performance, provide environmental sensing and control autonomous biohybrid devices.” – Eric Tegler
Whatever abiotic systems and biohybrid devices are, the Lord, the Creator of all life, does not approve. This is not my opinion, this is from Scripture.
“Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind. – Leviticus 19:19
Some modern language Bibles say, “Do not mate two different kinds of animals.” In other words, do not create hybrids.
One understanding of the giants of Genesis 6:4 is that they were the hybrid offspring of spiritual beings and human women. Today, man is feverishly working on creating hybrid beings. Are we opening the door to the prophecy of Daniel, when “they” will attempt to mingle with human seed?
The Religion of Science is leading us down a dangerous road. Christians, pray! We have a privilege, the ability to communicate with God, our Heavenly Father. Pray for the lost! Pray that the Lord may have the victory! May His name be praised, always.
