The Inspired Word of God

In the Bible, Genesis chapter ten is described as the “Table of Nations” because it lists the seventy descendants of the three sons of Noah; Shem, Ham and Japheth.

The Book of Acts is a history of the early church. It begins with the departure of the Lord Jesus from the earth (Acts 1:9), continues with the giving of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) and shows the formation of the church.

Acts chapter eight tells us of the conversion of the Ethiopian treasurer of Queen Candace (Acts 8:27-39). Ethiopians are African, and most people of Africa are descended from Ham, the son of Noah. Acts chapter nine tells us of the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, of the tribe or family of Benjamin (Acts 9:3-18). Saul, later called Paul, was a Jew and a descendant of Shem, the son of Noah. Acts chapter ten tells the account of the conversion of Cornelius, a centurion in the Roman army (Acts 10:1-8, 44-48). Cornelius was a descendant of Japheth, the son of Noah.

In chapters eight, nine and ten of the Book of Acts, the Holy Spirit showed us the sequential conversion of a representative of each of the three sons of Noah. This demonstrates to us that the church was fulfilling the command of the Lord Jesus, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek. Both languages use letters as numbers, much like Roman numerals. By using the numeric value of the letters of the verses and the numeric value of each word, a formula was constructed.

Here is the formula:

The number of letters multiplied by the product of the letters
divided by the number of words multiplied by the product of the words, equals . . .

In the world of mathematics, there are two dimensionless constants, Pi (3.1416 etc.) and Logarithms (2.7183 etc.) The dimensionless nature of the Most High God is demonstrated by the first verse of Genesis and the first verse of John.

The beginning chapters of the Book of Genesis and the Gospel of John are about, well, The Beginning.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John 1:1

When the formula above is applied to the first verse of Genesis the mathematical result is "3.1416" and so on, or Pi. When the formula above is applied to the first verse of John the mathematical result is "2.7183" and so on, or Log.

Two different verses, written about 1,500 years apart in two different languages, show us the dimensionless nature of God, and demonstrate the supernatural nature of the Word of God. There is no question in my mind that the Bible that we have received today is the Holy Spirit inspired Word of God.

The pattern in the Book of Acts that was placed there by the Lord through His Holy Spirit. The amazing connection between the beginning chapters of Genesis and John were placed there by the Lord through His Holy Spirit.

I thank our Brother, Chuck Missler for this information, and Brother Cary, and my son Adam for pointing it out. Brother Chuck is now with the Lord finding out even more amazing facts.

There is more to the Bible than meets the eye!

Give God all the Glory! Praise His name!
