For those who are looking forward to the soon return of Jesus and His calling home of the Church, there is a possible method to spread the Gospel even when we are gone. I suggest a plain, manila envelope with the words "OPEN THIS" written in bold letters.

Inside should be a simple letter (click here) explaining what happened. The envelope should also contain a New Testament (available at Christian bookstores for $3-$4) marked to show the Plan of Salvation.

Place the envelope in your home or in your car so that anyone finding your abandoned car or home may have the opportunity to know what really happened, and not receive the biased report of the media. (Broadcasters present the Church in an unkind light today. Do you think that those media-types left behind will have kind things to say about Christians?)

Marking the New Testament (or Bible) is not difficult. Here are the steps:

1. Make a starting marker of paper or use a "Post-It Note". It should say "START HERE"
   
2. Place the marker at Romans 3:23. Clearly write "All have sinned" at the top of the page and underline or highlight the verse. At the bottom of the page, write "Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."

   Use the page number in your Bible because the reader may not be familiar with how to find the scripture.

3. The next scripture is Romans 6:23. Highlight or underline the verse. At the bottom of the page, write "Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."
   
4. The next scripture is John 3:16. Highlight or underline the verse. At the bottom of the page, write "Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."
   
5. The next scripture is I Corinthians 15:22-23. Highlight or underline the verse. At the bottom of the page, write "Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."
   
6. The next scripture is John 14:6. Highlight or underline the verse. At the bottom of the page, write "Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."
   
7. The next scripture is Acts 4:12. Highlight or underline the verse. At the bottom of the page, write How can I be saved? - Go to page (enter the page for the next scripture)."

   As you follow these scripture references, you can see that they show the need for salvation.
