The “rapture,” or snatching away of the Church has become a favorite subject of books and movies in recent years. The possible situation of pilotless airplanes and driverless vehicles causing accidents and mayhem is frequently illustrated. But there will be an even greater tragedy, besides not being part of the rapture, for many people.
For years Occultists, New Agers, and others have been laying the groundwork to be able to explain away the sudden disappearance of millions of people. Here are some examples:
“The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit in here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of the Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people leave the planet at one time there will be a tremendous shift in consciousness for those who are remaining. There is the potential for many people to leave the planet in an afternoon.” (my emphasis) – Barbara Marciniak, Bringers of the Dawn
“Our rescue ships will be able to come in close enough in the twinkling of an eye to set the lifting beams in operation in a moment. And all over the globe where events warrant it, this will be the method of evacuation. Mankind will be lifted, levitated shall we say, by the beams from our smaller ships. Do not be concerned nor unduly upset if you do not participate in this first temporary lift-up of souls . . .” (my emphasis) – Thelma Terrell, channeling a demon who calls himself “Ashtar”
“ . . . two billion people who didn’t go along with the New Age would be wiped off the face of the Earth during the coming cleansing.” (my emphasis) – John Randolph Price, channeling a demon who calls himself “Asher”I take no joy in discussing this. In this unprecedented event, the Lord will call to Heaven the Redeemed – those who believe in Him. And, it is my understanding that He will also call the innocent children. Children, by nature, are innocent and our righteous Lord will not punish them (Matthew 19:14) by leaving them here to experience a time like no other before. (Jeremiah 30:7) For example, King David knew that he would see his dead infant son . (Second Samuel 12:23)
In the midst of the natural confusion after the rapture will be the cry of distraught parents. “Where are my children?” The disappearance of innocent children will be difficult, if not impossible, to explain away. How can children “stop the harmony of the earth,” as stated by Barbara Marciniak? How can children be judged for “not going along with the New Age,” according to John Randolph Price and his demon, Asher? I would not want to be with such people.
The Most High God is righteous. He has been patient while mankind has said that He does not exist, or that we were planted here by space aliens, or that if we protect the environment the environment will protect us. He is the Creator, the Most High God, and at His appointed time He will send the Lord Jesus to come and get us. Praise His name, forever!
