O LORD, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments. We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your laws. Neither have we listened to your servants the prophets which spoke in your name to our leaders, and our fathers, and to all the people of America, as recorded in your Word. O LORD, righteousness belongs unto you, but we are covered with shame, to this day. O LORD, we deserve to be covered with shame, and our leaders and our fathers, because we have sinned against you. The LORD our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him. Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in His laws, which He gave us by His servants the prophets. Yea, all America has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey your voice.

Therefore all the curses and the judgments that are written in the your Holy Bible are poured upon us because we have sinned against you. The LORD has fulfilled His words, which He spoke against us, and against our leaders that led us, by bringing upon us great evil. For under the whole heaven there has not been a nation as blessed as America. Just as it is written in your Holy Bible, all this evil is come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God, by turning from our iniquities, and understanding your truth. Therefore has the LORD looked upon our sin, and is bringing disaster upon us. For the LORD our God is righteous in all that He does, yet we have not obeyed His voice.

And now, O Heavenly Father, that has blessed America with a mighty hand, and has gotten renown for Himself which endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly. O Father, according to all your righteousness, I beseech you, let your anger and your fury be turned away from America. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, America and your people are become a reproach to all the world.

Now therefore, O Heavenly Father, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and for your sake cause your face to shine upon America that is becoming desolate. Father, incline your ear, and hear. Open your eyes, and see our desolations, and the land that was a Light to the world. For we do not present our supplications before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies. O LORD, hear. O LORD, forgive. O LORD, listen and act. For your own sake O my God, do not delay for this great land and for your people that are called by your name.
