The members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons) are some of the finest, morally upright people in this world. However, there is an area of disagreement between the Mormons and the Christian Church.

Christians believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God. Whereas, the Mormons believe a more recent revelation, The Book of Mormon, to also be the Word of God. Therefore, there is a separation of the groups, based upon this book.

In my study of the Bible I have found many patterns, pictures and types. These facets of the Word are the signature of God. The consistency of the designs show that the Lord is behind the writing of all sixty-six books, even though they were written by many different people over a period of at least 1600 years.

Some of the most fundamental patterns in God's Word are Menorah designs and Alphabetic designs.

Please click here for a sample of a Menorah design. The Menorah is the golden lampstand designed by the Lord. Moses built the first Menorah according to the instructions of God. Menorah designs are found throughout the entire Bible. They are not only an Old Testament feature.

Please click here for a sample of an Alphabetic design. While these designs are based upon the Hebrew alphabet, again these designs are found throughout God's Word. Psalm 119 is clearly an alphabetic design. The Revelation with its twenty-two chapters is an alphabetic design.

Here is my Challenge. The Creator of all things, God the Father, caused the sixty-six books of the Bible to be written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. If The Book of Mormon was written according to the direction of God, then His imprimatur, His mark should also be found there .

I am not a Book of Mormon scholar. The designs and patterns that I and others have found are the result of years of Bible study. I cannot determine if there are Menorah designs or Alphabetic designs in the book translated by Joseph Smith. I challenge anyone familiar with The Book of Mormon to show consistent Menorah and Alphabetic designs within the book. These are the hallmark of God, and would prove to the Christian world that The Book of Mormon is an inspired writing.

Let the barrier between Christians and Mormons be removed. Or, let the Bible stand as the uncontested, unamended and only Word of God.
