Famine
“Natural” and Human Causes of Famine

As stated previously, the Lord hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-17), something the entire world is guilty of. As a result, the Lord is withdrawing His favor from many lands, including the United States. That should be obvious.

Our physical world has been slowly changing. It is so gradual that you only can note the changes by looking at the history of various facets. Earthquake and volcanic activities are increasing. Weather patterns are changing. This last facet is particularly troubling.

Around the world, farmers have reported reduced crop output due to too little rain (drought) or too much rain (flooding). In some countries crops have been decimated by locusts. Drought is causing American farmers to sell off their cattle herds. Whether the globe is warming or cooling, the net result is a reduction of food supplies. The secular world thinks that “nature” is the reason for these changes. The secular world believes that they can control “nature.”

And then, there are the many coincidental, destructive fires at food processing plants, that take them offline!

But Believers know Who is in command. The Most High God created this world and He is allowing these things to happen because of human rebellion and bloodshed.

Governments have stepped in to assist in reducing food supply. Canadian farmers are angry about their government’s requirement to use less fertilizer. Dutch farmers are protesting their government’s regulations which will reduce farmer’s beef production by as much as ninety-five percent. The United Nations is an occult organization. These actions all reduce the food supply.

The Georgia Guidestones were recently in the news. They were erected by an anonymous group in 1980 at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars in current dollar terms. They were designed to resemble the ancient structure, Stonehenge. There is one difference. There are ten inscriptions on the Guidestones that follow the agenda of the Humanist Manifesto. Click HERE to see the Humanist Manifesto.

The first inscription reads, “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.” 500,000,000 is one-half billion. Currently, it is estimated that there are 7½ billion people on our planet. Who would want to kill, starve or eliminate 7 billion of those people? The answer is the devil. He hates mankind because we are made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27, 9:6) The devil hates God, therefore, the devil hates us. There are people known as “elitists” who knowingly, or unknowingly, are following the devil’s agenda, as seen above on the Georgia Guidestones.

Famine is coming.

But, to use a Biblical phrase, fear not. The Lord is able to provide for His children. King David wrote the 37th Psalm, which offers such hope.

“The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” – Psalm 37:18-19 (My emphasis)
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” – Psalm 37:25 (My emphasis)
Praise the Lord! He is righteous and just. But also, He is merciful and gracious. Praise Him always!
